CDP presented the financial results for the first four months of 2010
Warsaw, 27 May 2010 - Crowley Data Poland presented the financial results for the first quarter of 2010 additionally supplemented with the figures for the first four months of this year. From January to March, the company generated the revenue of PLN 25.7m, which is about 3.3% more than the results of the respective period of the past year. By the end of April 2010, the revenue has reached the value of PLN 34.17m with the EBITDA of PLN 4m in the first quarter and PLN 5.4m in the next month.
The first quarter of 2010 proved to be successful for Crowley Data Poland. The good fortune has also continued throughout the next month with the number of large and medium-sized customers considerably increasing and the rate of outgoing customers (churn) falling down. In April 2010, revenues were higher by PLN 145k than in the corresponding period of 2009. Moreover, the revenue from ISDN and Internet access to ISPs has considerably grown.
“Since 2000, when the company was incorporated, Crowley Data Poland has managed to maintain its organic growth, even during the last year's crisis. Now, we are catching the momentum - said Jaroslaw Roszkowski, Chairman of the Board of Crowley Data Poland. - "We are flexible and innovative, our solutions generate considerable savings. Companies today are getting more aware of their costs – this works to our advantage."
According to the strategy presented by Crowley Data Poland at the beginning of this year, the company has decided to focus their business efforts on the largest businesses of the corporate segment of the market. It will also continue to work with local governments in the development of the ICT infrastructure. Two such projects, supported by European Union funds, will be completed this year. They involve the deployment of broadband networks in those suburban areas of Glinojeck and Halinów where it is difficult to provide Internet access using any other access technology.
